Recruit personnelin ten steps

Recruiting personnel is no easy matter. That's because as an employer, you have numerous obligations. Fortunately, you can rely on Partena Professional for the administrative processing and for advice throughout the procedure.

Discover the ten steps for recruiting personnel here. Steps one to seven only have to be done once, when you recruit your first employee. For all subsequent staff members, you only need to do the last three steps

To become an employer, you must take a number of general steps.

1. Preparation of recruitment

Our social secretariat Partena Pay 'n People first carries out a free simulation of all your employment costs - simple and clear! Next, the secretariat determines an appropriate salary and the fringe benefits that you may or must offer. They also check whether you have to produce certain certificates for a specific employee statute, or a reduction in your employer's social security contributions.

2. Affiliation to a social secretariat

Join our social secretariat Partena Pay 'n People. This relieves you of the burden of the administrative formalities. And you will be sure that your employees will be paid promptly and correctly. Furthermore, your account manager will always keep you informed of any changes in the employment legislation.

3. Check your details in the Central Businesses Databank

Partena Pay ’n People will amend your business details in the Central Companies Databank, and guarantees that your details are up-to-date. The place of employment may entitle you to certain grants and tax breaks.

4. Registration as an employer with the Social Security Administration

Partena Pay ’n People registers you with the Social Security Administration: the institution to which you will henceforth be paying your contributions via Partena Professional. So you are correctly registered with the administration, and your contributions are guaranteed to be correct.

5. Affiliation to a child benefit fund

Affiliate to the Partena Professional child benefit fund. That ensures punctual and correct payment of your employees' child benefit.

6. Affiliation to a service for prevention and protection at work

Partena Pay’n People registers you with an external service for prevention and protection at work - a compulsory formality that consolidates your image as a responsible employer.

7. Take out workplace accident insurance

Partena Pay ’n People arranges your insurance against workplace accidents. This covers risks at work and on the way to and from work.

Have you carried out all these steps? Then you have to fulfil other obligations for each new employee before recruiting him/her.

8. Notification of employee data

For each new employee, you provide Partena Pay 'n People with an employee information sheet. This contains general information about the employee, and certificates to substantiate a special employee status, or to benefit from reduced employer's contributions.

9. Drawing up an employment contract

Partena Pay ’n People drafts an employment contract together with you for your new employee. Our social secretariat also draws up standing employment conditions, in which your relationship with your employee is clearly explained.

10. Notification of employment to the Social Security Administration

At least 24 hours before your new employee starts work, you should inform Pay 'n People about it. The social secretariat then sends the mandatory Dimona return to the Social Security Administration.

Congratulations, you are now officially an employer!
