A law of 28 November 2022 allows an employee who has obtained information about violations in a professional context to raise the alarm via an internal reporting channel.

This internal reporting channel must be set up by 17 December 2023 at the latest, in private-sector legal entities with at least 50 but fewer than 250 employees.

The channel can be managed internally (by a designated reporting manager) or supplied externally. This could be an online platform (intranet or Internet), for example.

(Representatives of) employees must be consulted beforehand.
