Employers hiring before the end of 2023 may still be able to benefit from the target group reduction for first hirings. Indeed, from 1 January 2024, this reduction will change dramatically.
In a previous Infoflash, we outlined what is changing about this target reduction. This legislation has since been published in the Belgian Official Gazette. We are still waiting for the implementation decree establishing the transitional measures for the reduction for the fourth, fifth and sixth employees.
Thus, if you are planning to hire additional employees, we recommend that you do so before the end of this year.
