Tackling the gender pay gap: establishing the 2017-2018 analysis report

In order to determine whether the remuneration policy conducted within their company is gender neutral, certain employers must a make a detailed analysis of the workers’ remuneration structure.

The 1st analysis report concerned the financial year closed in 2014.

The following analysis reports concern two financial years.

So the second report related to the financial years 2015-2016.

The following report will concern the financial years 2017 2018.

Employers concerned 

Companies that usually employ an average of at least 50 workers are required to draw up an analysis report of the workers’ remuneration structure.

Reminder! To obtain the average number of workers employed in the company, the same calculation methods are used as those that apply for the social elections.

Long or short form 

The analysis report of the workers’ remuneration structure is drawn up on the basis of:

  • a long form if the employer usually employs at least 100 workers on average;
  • a short form if the employer usually employs at least 50 workers but less than 100 workers on average.

Procedure and deadlines 

Every two years, the employers concerned must present the analysis report of the workers’ remuneration structure to the Works Council or, in the absence hereof, to the trade union delegation.

This report will be presented and discussed in the course of the 3 months following the closing of the financial year, (in principle) this is 31 March 2019 at the latest for the next report.  It will be presented at least 15 days prior to the meeting in which the report is discussed
