A Ministerial Decree of 3 April 2020 modifies the list of companies of the crucial sectors and essential services.

In practice, the measures that apply to companies of the crucial sectors and essential services were not modified. However, they are extended to producers, suppliers, contractors and subcontractors of goods, works and services that are essential to the performance of the activity of these companies and services.

This is the list of the companies and services concerned (from page 5).

As a reminder, the following measures apply to these companies and services:

  • teleworking is not mandatory;
  • however, it must, as far as possible, be put in place together with the rules of social distancing (a distance of at least 1.5 metres between each person).
