The staff representatives that are members of the Works Council and/or the Committee for Prevention and Protection at Work, as well as the non-elected candidates, shall be protected against dismiss

To work validly, each works council and each committee for prevention and protection at work must dispose of their (own) internal rules.

Employees who work on Sunday 9 June 2024 are not exempt from voting, as voting is compulsory in Belgium.

In principle, the first meeting of the works council and/or the committee for prevention and protection at work takes place on the days following the social elections.
