Since Wednesday 18 March, Belgium has been learning to live according to the coronavirus measures.
Subject to exceptions, teleworking is now mandatory. However, in certain sectors and situations it is still allowed to go to work. Read more about the different cases in our previous Infoflash.
In addition, people’s movements are limited to a maximum and only essential and necessary journeys are allowed, i.e.:
If your employees can still work on site for your sector and activity, they have the right to go to their place of work. Unlike in France, employees do not have to be in possession of a certificate from their employer. So as an employer, you do not have to provide your employees with a document to justify their movement.
