As a result of the regionalisation of employment aid, each of the three regions has introduced its own measure to reduce employer’s contributions for older employees.
Within the context of these measures, the quarterly reference wage of the older employee may not exceed a certain amount in order to be entitled to a reduction in the employer's contributions for his employer.
This cap is different for each of the regions, the competent region being determined by the place of employment of the employee.
This cap will be modified in the Walloon Region and in the Brussels-Capital Region as from 1 October 2018.
