The indexation of social benefits on 1 September 2018 also increases the minimum wage in a flexi-job.

A flexi-job worker is entitled to three types of compensation:

  1. a basic flexi-wage: the minimum base rate per hour replacing the scale wage
  2. additional compensations: all extras associated with an employment under contract
  3. flexi-holiday pay: an immediately paid “ single" holiday pay of 7.67% on the basic wage and additional compensations

As a result of the indexation, the minimum basic wage from 1 September 2018 amounts to EUR 9.36 per hour, and the flexi-holiday pay to EUR 0.72 (€ 9.36 x 7.67%). The overall minimum wage will therefore be EUR 10.08 per hour.
