The employment aids ‘Professional Training Programme’ (abbreviated to PTP) and ‘Long-term job seekers’ (abbreviated to SINE) are currently still in force in the Brussels-Capital Region.

This aid, which offers the employer both a reduction in NSSO contributions and the activation of an allowance, will be repealed on 31 December 2020 in the Brussels-Capital Region, without any transitional measures.

An alternative subsidy system (which will not be based on reductions in contributions) will be set up by the Brussels-Capital Region.

At this time, we do not yet have information about this new subsidy measure. We will of course keep you informed in a future infoflash.
