In a previous Infoflash, we gave an overview of the aid measures in the Brussels-Capital Region. The form to apply for the premium is now available and there are also more details on the premium itself.

One-off premium of € 4,000

The Brussels-Capital Region had announced the granting of a premium of € 4,000 to companies in certain sectors and € 2,000 for the hairdressing sector. The evolution of the government measures to combat covid-19 also has an impact on the companies involved. The hairdressing sector is now also entitled to the premium of € 4,000.

Companies with an NACE code listed here are eligible for the premium of € 4,000 if they employ fewer than 50 employees in full-time equivalents (per company and not per business unit) and if they are closed down as a result of the government measures. Restaurants offering take-away meals and hotels are also entitled to the premium.

Accredited social integration enterprises affected by the emergency measures to limit the spread of the coronavirus will also be able to receive this premium.

The premium is granted per business unit operating in the Brussels-Capital Region, with a maximum of 5 business units. The registered office may be located outside the Brussels Region.

You will find the premium application form in French or Dutch. The application must be submitted online before 18 May 2020. It must be accompanied by a bank certificate relating to the company account and the company’s last monthly or quarterly VAT return. The bank's certificate states the following: the name of the bank, the name and contact details of the company and the company's account number.

Companies which have not complied with the government measures to combat coronavirus or which have not complied with the order on tourist accommodation are not eligible for this premium.
