Author: Anne Ghysels (Legal Expert)

For absences in the context of educational leave, the employee is entitled to the payment of his normal wage on the usual dates. However, this wage is limited to a certain amount (except if the employer agrees to not apply this amount).

The amount remains unchanged compared to the previous school year and amounts to 2,928 EUR for the school year 2019-2020 (from 1 September 2019 to 30 June 2020).
