The employer is required to communicate the employment regulations or any amendment to the existing employment regulations to the competent Directorate of Compliance with Social Law.
Since 15 May 2019, the employer can do this on-line via www.reglementdetravail.belgique.be.
At the end of the procedure for drawing up or amending the employment regulations, the employer must communicate the adopted employment regulations or amendment:
- on the one hand, to the company’s employees: posting a notice indicating where the employment regulations can be consulted and providing each of them with a copy of the employment regulations or the amendment (with acknowledgement of receipt);
- and, on the other hand, to the Directorate of Compliance with Social Law competent for the registered office and to the Directorate of Compliance with Social Law competent for each place of business (where the employees are employed) within 8 days after the entry into force of the employment regulations or of the amendment.
Access can be gained by means of the electronic identity card (eID) or via Itsme.
