Vaccination leave is extended until 31 March 2023.

As a reminder, from 1 October to 31 December 2022, any employee under an employment contract who wanted to be vaccinated against the COVID-19 coronavirus was entitled to be absent from work with maintenance of his normal pay for the time necessary for his vaccination or that of the person he was accompanying (minor cohabiting child, adult child with a disability, person under guardianship).

This was laid down by the act of 15 November 2022 reintroducing the right to circumstantial leave for employees in order to receive a COVID-19 coronavirus vaccine.

A Royal Decree of 26 December 2022 extends this circumstantial leave - which was initially planned until 31 December 2022 - until 31 March 2023.

The terms and conditions surrounding the vaccination leave remain unchanged.
