Coronavirus Walloon Region: support for the indirectly affected sectors

The Walloon Region grants an allowance to sectors indirectly affected by decisions to close.

This allowance can be applied for online at www.indemnitecovid.wallonie.be from 27 May 2021.

Do you qualify for the allowance?

You must meet the following conditions:

  • Have an establishment unit in the Walloon Region before 1 January 2021;
  • Be a very small, small or medium-sized enterprise or a natural person carrying out a professional activity as a main activity and who, taking into account his professional income, pays social security contributions;
  • Demonstrate a loss of turnover of at least 50% in the 1st quarter of 2021 compared to the 1st quarter of 2019;
  • Have not received, including this allowance, more than € 1,800,000 in support under the temporary framework;
  • Carry out an activity falling under one of the following NACE codes:

What is the amount of the allowance?

This amount depends on your workforce and the extent of your loss of turnover.

The workforce is the average number of employees in 2019 employed under an employment contract in all the places of business of your company, corresponding to the number of work units (AWU), calculated on the basis of your DmfA declarations of the 4 quarters of 2019.

The allowance is equal to 30% of the turnover for the 1st quarter of 2019. The allowance amounts to:

If your company was set up between 1 January 2019 and 31 December 2020, your allowance is fixed at a flat rate of € 4,500.

This allowance is granted only once per company registered in the CBE.

How to apply?

You must apply for this allowance at www.indemnitecovid.wallonie.be ('indemnité 13').

The form is available from 27 May 2021 until 26 June 2021.
