Coronavirus: resumption for contact professions on 18 May

A Ministerial Decree of 15 May 2020 specifies the rules for the resumption of activities for certain contact professions on 18 May 2020.

Resumption with appropriate precautionary measures

Certain contact professions (e.g. hairdressing salons) are indeed allowed to resume their activities, but only if specific conditions are met.

As with businesses that were already allowed to open on 11 May, the companies concerned must, among others:

• take appropriate precautionary measures in good time to ensure, among other things, the application of the rules of social distancing or, if this is not possible, to provide at least an equivalent level of protection.
• and inform third parties and the employees in good time on the applicable precautionary measures.

Maintenance of measures applicable to employees

There is no change in the measures that apply to employees and the companies employing them.
