In the context of the health crisis, the Brussels-Capital Region has created a new aid measure. This measure consists of a premium for the contact professions, driving schools and recreational sector. Apply before 18 February 2021!
Are you entitled to the premium?
In order to be entitled to the premium, you must meet the following conditions:
- Have an establishment unit in the Brussels-Capital Region on 2 November 2020;
- Carry out one or more of these activities and be registered under the VAT activities in the CBE on 2 November 2020;

- Be subject to the obligation to close one or more establishment units located in the Brussels-Capital Region, in accordance with the Ministerial Order of 28 October 2020. You are not entitled to the premium if you have not complied with the closing obligation.
What is the amount of the premium?
The premium amounts to €1,500 per active establishment unit in the Brussels-Capital Region, as registered in the CBE on 2 November 2020 and compulsorily closed in accordance with the Ministerial Order of 28 October 2020.
The premium is granted for a maximum of 5 establishment units.
This premium complies with the de-minimis regulation.
What must you do?
You must apply for the premium online via the website of Brussels Economy and Employment by 18 February 2021.
Brussels Economy and Employment will ask you for certain supporting documents.
You can only submit one aid application per company.
The granting decision will be notified to you within 2 months after the date of receipt of the application.
Note: this premium may be considered an "advance" on a second, higher premium that would be available in late February. However, we currently have no more information on the existence of such a second premium. We will definitely come back to this.
