Coronavirus Brussels-Capital Region: premium for the socio-cultural and creative sector

The Brussels Government supports employers in the socio-cultural and creative sector with a maximum of 5 full-time equivalents (FTE) established in the form of a non-profit-making enterprise.

You can apply for this premium on-line until 5 September 2021.

Are you entitled to the premium?

To be eligible for this premium, you must:

  • Have at least one place of business in the Brussels-Capital Region. This must be registered with the CBE to validate this condition;
  • Have been affected by the Corona crisis and have suffered a loss of income affecting the annual turnover and carrying capacity in relation to fixed costs;
  • Have a social purpose that is included in your articles of association and is not of an economic and commercial nature;
  • Have not initiated bankruptcy or liquidation proceedings before 30 June 2021;
  • Not have profits carried forward or unallocated reserves in excess of EUR 10,000 upon closing the accounts on 31 December 2020;
  • Employ no more than five full-time equivalents (FTE) on 30 June 2021;
  • Not have received a premium or premiums introduced by the Government of the Brussels-Capital Region, Flanders or Wallonia in the context of the Corona crisis in 2021;
  • On 30 June 2021 carry out an activity falling under one of the following NACE codes:

What is the amount of the premium?

The premium is a one-off lump sum of EUR 3,000.

What do you need to do?

You can apply for the premium on the Brussels Economy and Employment website using the on-line form. This form will be available until 5 September 2021
