Bereavement leave: new developments confirmed!

The Act of 27 June 2021 extending bereavement leave in the event of the death of a partner or child and making the taking of bereavement leave more flexible was published in het Belgian Official Gazette of 15 July 2021.

It will enter into force on 25 July 2021. Specifically, it will apply to bereavement leave for deaths occurring as from 25 July 2021.
