On 15 June 2017, the social partners of the auxiliary joint committee for non-manual workers (200) concluded their sectoral agreement for 2017-2018.
Below is a short overview of the main topics mentioned in this sectoral agreement. A more in-depth analysis will be included in our sectoral documentation.
The social partners have decided to increase the minimum wages and actual wages by 1.1% from 1 October 2017.
Companies have the possibility to grant an equivalent benefit in purchasing power for 2017-2018. In order to do so, a company agreement must be concluded by 30 September 2017 at the latest when there is a trade union delegation in the company. In companies without trade union delegation, the non-manual workers must be informed at the time of the payment of the wages of October 2017.
For 2017-2018, the sector provides for the application of a RCC/SWT long career (40-year professional career) and a RCC/SWT night work or strenuous occupation (33-year professional career).
Time credit schemes are extended until 30 June 2019.
Non-manual workers with at least 5 years’ seniority in the company are entitled to 51 months time credit for the purpose of care.
Non-manual workers are entitled to wind-down time jobs (reduction to 4/5ths time and to half-time) from 55 years for a long career, strenuous occupation and 20 years of night work provided that they have 2 years’ seniority in the company.
The existing collective labour agreement on training is extended until the end of 2018. The employer contribution of 0.23% for the financing of the Social Fund is also extended until 31 December 2018.
From 1 January 2018, the amount of the ceiling below which a non-manual worker benefits from the contribution for private transport shall be increased from 26,250 EUR to 27,750 EUR.
From 1 January 2017 to 31 December 2018.
