In certain cases, the electoral procedure has to be terminated earlier.

During the electoral procedure various formalities will have to be completed including the constitution of the electoral colleges and the composition of the polling stations.

During the electoral procedure, several formalities will have to be fulfilled including the posting of the lists of candidates.

Certain formalities have to be completed during the (pre-)election procedure.
Below we give a brief overview of the formalities to be completed on day X.

Currently, the protection against dismissal enjoyed by (candidate) employee representatives on the WC and/or the CPPW ceases as soon as they reach the age of 65.

The formalities which need to be accomplished between day X - 35 and day X can be summarized as follows.

Staff representatives (both full and alternate) to the works council and/or the committee for prevention and protection at work are protected against dismissal.

Certain formalities need to be accomplished during the (pre-)electoral process.

During the (pre-) electoral process, it will be necessary to determine the duties of the management staff and, where appropriate, the duties of the executives.

Social elections will take place between 13 May and 26 May 2024 in all companies in the sense of a technical business unit, employing a minimum number of employees.
